GRANITE MOSS ROCK
GRANITE MOSS ROCK
DESCRIPTION:
Our Granite Moss Rock is a weathered surface granite with a lichen and moss
covering. Due to the unique weathering of this rock, shapes and sizes vary (not
one rock is a like). Color varies, but typically the rock is a light reddish
brown and sometimes a darker reddish brown. Moss and Lichen covering varies from
a full cover to light patches. Sizes are available from a garden rock size (one
man can lift) to 8000 lb. (and larger) boulders.
APPLICATIONS:
GARDEN ROCK:

Garden rock is used in a wide variety of landscape applications. Garden rock is
used to accent perimeters for flower and garden beds, to dry stack into a
retaining wall, and sometimes placed and mortared into a wall. This size of rock
can easily be maneuvered by one man. Garden rock is packaged in a wire basket on
a standard wood pallet weighing roughly 3000 pounds.
SMALL TO MEDIUM BOULDERS:

Small to medium boulders are a popular choice among landscapers. Boulder sizes
are available in a variable range between 200 pounds and 1000 pounds. Light
equipment such as a small tractor, Bobcat, or Skidsteer is generally required to
maneuver this size of rock. Uses include accented landscapes, water features,
larger retaining walls, and much more. Small to Medium boulders are available
individually (i.e., not on a pallet) or on a wood pallet (wrapped with metal
poultry wire weighing roughly 2500 pounds).
LARGE BOULDERS:

Large boulders make great statements in any landscape project. The size offers a
more robust element to landscapes. Larger equipment may be required to handle
large size boulders. Uses include landscape center pieces, water features,
entrances, and much more. Large boulders are only available individually.
AVAILABILITY:

shipping yard (with some seasonal limitations such as snow and rain). Shipment

we can help locate freight to your destination. Freight rates vary due to
destination and transportation costs. Delivery with forklift is available in the
Front Range area of Colorado.
